This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of schema therapy training on responsibility and willingness to marry in girls with gamophobia. The method of this research was quasi-experimental with a pretest, posttest, and -day follow-up design, utilizing experimental and control groups. The statistical population of the present study included girls with gamophobia in Isfahan who referred to the Isfahan Welfare Center from February to May . From the mentioned statistical population, individuals were selected voluntarily through a call based on the inclusion criteria, and then randomly assigned into experimental and control groups ( individuals in each group). The instruments of this study consisted of the standard Responsibility Questionnaire (Nemati, 1999) and the Marriage Willingness Questionnaire (Poureetemad et al., 2004). Schema therapy training was implemented in sessions of minutes, and the control group was placed on a waiting list. The collected data were analyzed at two levels: descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (repeated measures analysis of variance) using SPSS software version . The results showed that schema therapy training is effective on responsibility and willingness to marry in girls with gamophobia. Based on the obtained results, these trainings can be utilized to improve the aforementioned constructs among girls suffering from gamophobia.
