The Relationship between Islamic Lifestyle and Marital Satisfaction with Happiness and Future Hope among Families of Yasuj University of Medical Sciences Staff

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Islamic lifestyle and marital satisfaction with happiness and future hope among families of Yasuj University of Medical Sciences staff. This descriptive-correlational study included 127 participants selected randomly from the families of Yasuj University of Medical Sciences staff. Data collection was conducted using standardized questionnaires, including the Oxford Happiness Inventory, Snyder’s Hope Scale, Kaviani’s Islamic Lifestyle Questionnaire, and the Enrich Marital Satisfaction Scale. Data analysis was performed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression with SPSS version 20. The results indicated a significant positive relationship between Islamic lifestyle and marital satisfaction with happiness and future hope. Regression analysis showed that Islamic lifestyle was a significant predictor of future hope, while marital satisfaction predicted happiness. Additionally, a positive and significant relationship was found between future hope and happiness. The findings suggest that Islamic lifestyle and marital satisfaction play a key role in enhancing happiness and future hope in families. Promoting Islamic values and strengthening spousal relationships can contribute to improving the psychological and social well-being of families.
